The Revenant & the Making of The Revenant — Limited Edition two book set

Kimberley French served as unit still photographer on The Revenant, working alongside the production across its famously grueling shoot. In 2016, three days before the Academy Awards, her photographs from the film were exhibited at TASCHEN Gallery in Los Angeles. A collector's edition of The Revenant photography book followed shortly after.

Insight Editions, in partnership with New Regency, has released a 10th-anniversary limited edition two book set of The Revenant & The Making of The Revenant 500 numbered copies. The volumes draw heavily on on-set photography captured by Kimberley throughout the production — images made in the same unforgiving natural light and remote locations that defined the film itself. The film went on to win three Academy Awards: Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Cinematography.
